Naples Food tour
Visit and taste the best of Naples!
Wear your walking shoes and bring your appetite!
Join us for an exciting walking and dining tour of the ancient city of Naples. One of the oldest continuously inhabited cities, it is a fascinating maze of narrow streets, intriguing churches, historic monuments, shops, restaurants and art galleries. It also boasts an abundance of chic cafés, delis and restaurants where traditional Neapolitan dishes are expertly prepared.
We have the inside scoop on the locations of these little treasures that you won’t find on your own. We’ll dine a little, then sightsee a little as we make our way leisurely around this lovely old city.
Imagine eating succulent Eggplant Parmigiana and zucchini flowers and then admiring the classical architecture on your way to Spaccanapoli, historic Naples’ main street. We’ll stop at the Piazza del Gesù, before continuing on to our next mini-feast. Perhaps you’ll have Spaghetti, or pizza, and then some Babà and Sfogliatelle. These foods are among the many specialties that originated right here. Together we’ll tour the religious complex of Santa Chiara and the famous Piazza Bellini. Pizza Margherita is named for Queen Margherita who came here in 1889 with her husband, King Umberto I. Be sure to try it!
Our delicious and informative Naples Food Tour includes the Conservatory of San Pietro a Maiella, Piazza San Gaetano and the Basilicas of Saint Paul and Saint Lawrence. We’ll walk the dynamic streets of San Gregorio Armeno with its artists’ shops and some of the world’s finest Nativity figures. Continuing on the San Biagio dei Librai, we’ll make our way to our next gastronomic delights, Baccalà, Fiarielli, soups, Ragù and Aglianico wine.
We’ll conclude our festive tour in Piazza Plebiscito, pride of Naples. Here is the world-renowned San Carlo Theatre, Galleria Umberto and the Royal Palace. Surrounding shops offer luscious cakes, coffees and liqueurs to try.
Our tour is a meal in itself, either your lunch or your dinner, so come hungry! Wear your walking shoes to enjoy the historic sites and authentic Neapolitan cuisine. Whether you’re here for the day or a week, this tour is a must!
