Subiaco Town, Monasteries and Park Guided Tour

A memorable journey through history, art, nature and spirituality!

Subiaco is a fascinating town only 40 min driving from Rome surrounded by one of the largest beech forests in Europe. It has been considered one of the most pleasant places in the region since Ancient Times. Indeed, Emperor Nero built here one of his villas to enjoy fresh air in the hot summer months. We will pick you up from your accommodation in Rome or elsewhere in the area with a comfortable new vehicle and drive to Subiaco across the charming Lazio countryside along the path pf the Aniene river up to its source.

In fact, Subiaco is located near abundant water springs at the feets of the Simbruini mountains. Some Ancient Roman acqueducts departed from here. However, Subiaco is not only a site of outstanding natural beauty but also rich of art and spirituality.
