Itinerary

• 1st Stop

  Palazzo Strozzi

  Our day in Florence will start with a relaxing walk though the city centre. You will discover the picturesque medieval streets, authentic markets, charming bridges and bustling squares with Renaissance basilicas and palaces. During your first stop you will have the opportunity to see the impressive Palazzo Strozzi and its perfectly preserved courtyard, then your tour guide will take you to Palazzo Davanzati, a perfect example of Medieval Palace away from the beaten track. 

• 2nd Stop

  Ponte Vecchio

  After a walk through the Porcellino (little pig) market, you will reach the Ponte Vecchio, the most ancient bridge in Florence, famous particular for its Vasari corridor.

• 3rd Stop

  Cathedral of Florence

  After a short walk through the narrow streets you will see the heart of the city, the Duomo square, where you will be amused by the impressive Cathedral of Florence and its unique marble decorations. Up above, the Brunelleschi celebrated Dome, an architectural masterpiece and a symbol of both Florence and the Renaissance as a whole, with its unbelievable design, a construction challenge for that time.

• 4th Stop

  Piazza della Signoria

  Next, your guide will take to Piazza della Signoria, the political centre of Florence, with the Uffizi Art Gallery on the river side, a palace that once hosted the Grand Duke’s Offices, and Palazzo Vecchio on the other side, the historic seat of the Florentine government. 

• 5th Stop

  Galleria Uffizi

  After lunch break our tour will proceed with a guided visit to one of the most conic and important museums in the world of art, Galleria Uffizi. With fast admission tickets you will skip the long lines and head straight inside the gallery. Our guide will accompany you through the beautiful Uffizi corridors, full of majestic statues, portraits and painted ceilings. You will see where and how Renaissance was born as you discover the precious artworks by Giotto, Botticelli, Da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo, Caravaggio and many other Italian and Florentine famous authors. Our guide with art history background will introduce you to this rich collection, explaining the history of each piece and its artistic importance.

• 6th Stop

  Accademia Gallery

  After the Uffizi, we will visit another important museum of Florence, Accademia Gallery, home to some of the finest works by Michelangelo. Here you will discover the most celebrated statues of Renaissance art, as well as remarkable religious paintings by Florentine artists. You will learn about the evolution of Italian art from medieval times to the Baroque period and come face to face with Michelangelo’s David, the timeless masterpiece that will take your breath away.
