This full-day tour begins at the Colosseum, Rome’s most iconic monument. Here, you will learn about the grand gladiatorial games and the impressive Roman engineering behind the amphitheater's construction, with fascinating insights from your expert guide. Next, we will explore the Roman Forum, once the bustling political and commercial heart of ancient Rome. As we walk through the ruins of temples, markets, and courthouses, you will discover what daily life was like in ancient times, with highlights including the Temple of Julius Caesar and the House of the Vestal Virgins.
The tour continues to Piazza Venezia at the base of Capitoline Hill, where you’ll see the imposing Vittoriano monument and enjoy panoramic views of the city. We then take a leisurely walk through the historic city center, stopping at landmarks such as the stunning Trevi Fountain, Piazza Colonna, and the Pantheon, before pausing for lunch at a local eatery.
