Full Description
Palazzo Barberini is one of the most visited art galleries in Rome which houses an important collection of artworks from the 13th to the 18th centuries. For many years it was a private residence of the noble Tuscany family Barberini and in 1953 it became one of the first National Museums in Italy.
Enjoy our guided tour without queues with skip-the-line access and take a journey through the centuries to explore the impressive collection of Italian and European art. During this visit, you will see the masterpieces by Filippo Lippi, Lorenzo Lotto, Raphael, Titian, Guido Reni, Caravaggio, and many other great artists. Worthy of special mention are the square-shaped staircase, designed by Bernini, and the oval helicoidal staircase by Francesco Borromini.
Our professional guide with an art history background will bring the past to the present and share the interesting stories and anecdotes behind these masterworks and their famous authors.
