• Meeting Point

  Campo Sant'Aponal

  You will meet a private guide at the Campo Sant'Aponal. Your day in Venice will start with a relaxing walk through the tiny back streets and bustling food markets of the city . Surrounded by the colours and flavours of the market stalls full of fresh products, you will see how locals do their shopping. You will learn many interesting facts and curiosities about Venetian people and traditions and find out more about local food culture.

  San Marco Neighborhood

  Then, your guide will take you through the authentic Venetian neighbourhoods, across lovely bridges and ancient squares, where you will discover some prominent landmarks, including House of Marco Polo, Church of Miracles, Campo San Giovanni e Paolo, Arch of Paradise, Church of San Zulian and many others.

   

• 2nd Stop

  Gondola Ride

  Your visit to Venice will not be complete without a gondola ride through the canals. You will experience the city in the most Venetian way, following a local gondolier who will take you for a 30-minute ride along the Grand Canal and into the quieter back canals of the city. You will pass by the gorgeous palaces, medieval Basilicas and iconic Venetian bridges while watching the world go by as you glide down the city’s canals.

  Piazza San Marco

  Your walking tour will continue with a visit to the most emblematic Venetian highlights – St. Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace . Save your time with the skip-the-line tickets and get inside this beautiful basilica, a great Byzantine masterpiece. You will enjoy its interior richly decorated with the invaluable mosaics from 12-13th centuries and discover the church treasures , a huge collection of sacred objects and reliquaries made from gold, silver, glass and other precious materials.

  Doge’s Palace

  At the end of the tour you will visit the Doge’s Palace, the former residence of the Doge, the elected ruler of the city. It houses an impressive collection of paintings, including the masterpieces by Tintoreno and Veronese as well as a precious collection of the ancient weapons. With your knowledgable guide, specialised in art history you will discover the beautiful public chambers, the Doge’s apartments and the New prisons , with its famous Bridge of Sights, where Venetian prisoners were interrogated.
